Seven broken bones and ungraspable fear—roads blocked and no cell service—days later, he finally got help.

A kind community member opened her home to foster Doggo while his dad began a long road to recovery in surgical rehab. Quickly, it was clear to her that Doggo wasn’t unscathed. A visit to a vet partner revealed a perineal hernia that would require surgery.

Doggo’s brave spirit has carried him through so much, but his story isn’t over yet. We recently received devastating news: their home has been condemned, and his dad is still undergoing complex medical treatment after complications.
