Just moments before a junkyard employee sent a car to be crushed, he paused to remove the battery. As he popped open the hood of the car, a bundle of fur rushed out and took a blind leap of faith into his arms.

Lilly, an adorable tabby cat, gazed up at the man with her dazzling green eyes, thanking him with slow blinks and soft purrs. It was almost like she knew that her life had been saved by his one simple act.

Little Lilly stayed bundled up tight inside the employee’s jacket while he finished the rest of his shift. With no shelters nearby and no idea how to help his new feline friend, he reached out to Brother Wolf.

Because of supporters like you on our team, we didn’t hesitate for a second to bring sweet Lilly into our care. Our medical staff gave her a thorough check-up and began treating her for dehydration.

Shortly after Lilly began to relax and settle into our adoption center, we heard from the junkyard that a call had come through… A man was frantically searching for his lost cat who just so happened to love sneaking into cars!

Brother Wolf reached out to Lilly’s caretaker, who was so thrilled to hear that his closest companion was safe and sound. We learned from him that, despite her small size, Lilly had an adventurous spirit like no other. In fact, her favorite activity of all time is going for a ride with her dad, whether that be in his car or his motorcycle – and yes, she even has her own helmet!

Our team asked Lilly’s dad if we could assist him by ensuring that she was returned to her home vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed at no cost. He eagerly accepted the offer, thanking us profusely for the help!

When Lilly reunited with her dad, the relief and happiness was so clear on both of their faces. She melted into his arms as his eyes filled with tears of joy.

Lilly’s dad could not be more grateful for all the love, care, and medical attention she received at Brother Wolf. It’s only thanks to caring people like you that we could help Lilly find her way back home.
