The Last 6 Months Changed Everything…

Friends,

Six months ago, we stood looking helplessly at floodwaters that swallowed our shelter. Erasing in a single night what had taken years to build. Six months ago, we faced the unimaginable— animals with nowhere to go, a community reeling from devastating loss, and the daunting question: What now?

Since that day, we have felt so many things—grief so heavy it steals your breath, joy so pure it brings you to tears, fear of the unknown, and hope sparked by the kindness of those who refused to let us stand alone.

So many things have changed, but our mission and passion have not. We now operate out of a temporary space in Asheville with a network of foster homes and a community that has lifted us at every turn. We are still saving lives because that is what we do at Brother Wolf: we save animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Today, we are celebrating: 150+ adoptions from our temporary facility! 150 wagging tails, 150 new starts, 150 hearts full of excitement!

What do the next six months look like for Brother Wolf? Moving forward step by step, searching for land, raising funds hand-in-hand with you to support our daily lifesaving work and our rebuild plans, designing a new shelter, and helping animals and our community every step of the way.
